Camellia Ann Buck, a beloved soul who graced this world with her warmth and kindness, passed away at Jubilee House in Clarksville, Tennessee. She was born in Brocton, Illinois, on February 2, 1938. Camellia led a multifaceted life, having worked in sales, medical supply, and as a mail room clerk. However, her most cherished roles were that of a devoted homemaker and a proud Air Force wife.
Throughout her life, Camellia found joy in simple pleasures such as travel, crocheting, knitting, playing cards, and engaging in Bible study. Her true happiness stemmed from the love she had for her family and friends, whom she adored spending time with.
Camellia leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will forever be treasured by her surviving family. She is survived by her loving husband, James Buck, whom she married on April 20, 1957. Also survived by her sons, Charles Buck (Phyllis) and James Paul Buck (Susan), grandchildren, Heath Holcomb and Michele Kibler, as well as six great-grandchildren. Additionally, Camellia was one of thirteen siblings born to the late Gordon and Desta Anderson Peddycoart. Those that preceded are Art, Eugene, Pete, Jim, Lloyd, Fern, Bonnie, Laura, Viola, Ellen, and Mary. Surviving sisters are Clara Cain and Nancy Morecraft.
Visitation with the family will be held from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2024. The Celebration of Life will follow at 12 noon at the Chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Camellia's spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched with her kindness and unwavering love. May she rest in eternal peace.
