Charles Paul Chisena, age 82, of Clarksville, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Tennessee State Veterans’ Home.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 14, 2019 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery with Full Air Force honors.
The family will receive friends Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 4 to 6 p.m. and again on Monday, from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Paul entered into this life on July 21, 1936 in Jacksonville, FL and is preceded in death by parents, Domenico and Ruby Chisena. Paul was retired from the United States Air Force, and proudly served in the Vietnam War. Paul also attended Trenton Crossing Church of Christ, and was a member of both the Masonic Lodge and the Al Menah Shriners. He retired as Executive Director of Harriett Cohn Center, and Vice President of Centerstone Community Mental Health Center.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha Batson Chisena; daughters, Cheryl (Steve) Steinberger, Cynthia (Billie) Church, and Carol Chisena; grandchildren, Suzanne Petranovich, Amanda Leppink, Jessica Haag, and Rebecca Pomales; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Horace LePrell, and Sam LePrell, and sister, Mary Combs.
