Buna Galloway Morgan, age 87, of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Brookdale of Clarksville Assisted Living.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bishop Strati Young officiating. Burial will follow in the New Salem Church Cemetery, Nortonville, KY.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday and 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Morgan entered this life on May 8, 1928 in Crofton, KY, daughter to the late Robert Nicholas Galloway and Edna Beshears Galloway. She was retired from a career as a Dental Assistant and served as President of Kentucky Dental Assistants Association and was a delegate to the American Dental Assistants Association. She was also a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Clarksville 3rd Ward.
In addition to her parents and siblings, Buna was preceded in death by her husband, Hurshell A. Morgan and her daughter, Patricia Kay Butler. Survivors include her daughter, Sylvia Moore and husband Donald; grandchildren, Leslie Horn (Jeff), Tyler Moore (Shai Rasmussen); and great grandchildren, Brennan Horn, Welby Horn, Briley Horn, and Blaise Moore. She was loved by many and was affectionately known as Mimi.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
