Buford Stacey

Buford C. Stacey, 68, Clarksville, died Sunday, October 26, 2008, at Christian Care, Ashland City. The funeral will be held at 12 noon Thursday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Lee Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born April 9, 1940 in Montgomery County and was the son of the late Sidney Houser Stacey Sr. and Nellie May Coons Stacey. Mr. Stacey was a retired 3rd class engineer for Trane Company, a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Excell Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Captolia Sanders Stacey, Clarksville; son, Edmond (Elizabeth Jolene) Houser Stacey Sr., Clarksville; brothers, Roy Stacey, Southside, Sidney Stacey Jr., Clarksville; sisters, Martha Eudamark, Clarksville; grandson, Edmond (Tara) Houser Stacey Jr.; great-granddaughter, Summer Maree Stacey. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
