Buford Lewis

Buford Carlyle Lewis passed away Wednesday December 26, 2012 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, Ky. He was born September 2, 1923 in Houston County, Tn. son of the late William Lewis and Laura Lyle Lewis. He was also preceded in death by his wife Sybil Jackson Lewis. Mr. Lewis was a WWII Army Veteran and a cab driver in Houston County, Tn. There will be a Graveside service 11am Monday with Rev. Haley Robinson officiating. Visitation will be from 5pm until 8pm Sunday at Nave Funeral Home Erin, Tn. Burial will be at Lewis Cemetery with military honors. Survivors include one son Dr. Don Lewis of Cumberland City, TN. three grandchildren Steven Lewis, Lauren Mitchell, Lindsey Lewis. Three great grandchildren Ansley Metzmaker, Haley Mitchell, Brody Mitchell. Donations can be made to Onesight at www.onesight.org
