Bruce Heflin

William B. Heflin, age 77, went to be with his Lord and Savior and was reunited with his wife on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. He was lovingly known as “Bruce”.

Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Smith-Austin Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Bruce entered this life on August 3, 1947 in Montgomery County, TN to the late William O. Heflin and Bessie Mae Smith Heflin. He was a member of Living Hope Baptist Church. Bruce retired from Flynn Enterprises with over 25 years of dedicated employment.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Peggy L. Heflin.

Survivors include his children, Bill Heflin, Larry Heflin, Heather Heflin Ciaglo (Stephen), Elsie Darnell (Mike), and Connie Conley; siblings, Sidney Heflin (Joelen), Ray Heflin (Linda), and Kay Huffman. Bruce also leaves behind his granddaughter, Samantha Darnell and nephew, Chad Darnell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home to be put towards funeral expenses.
