Britanie Elain Claytor, 18, Woodlawn, passed away, died Saturday, January 19, 2008, at as a result of an automobile accident. The funeral will be held at 12 noon Thursday at Soldiers Chapel, Ft. Campbell with Father Ray Kopec officiating. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at Soldiers Chapel. The remains are to be cremated. A Rosary will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born February 22, 1989 in Fresno, CA daughter of CW4 William Claytor and Brenda Claytor. Miss Claytor was a member of Soldiers Chapel the Sacred Heart Community where she sang in the choir. She graduated from Fort Campbell High School in 2007 where she played varsity Volleyball and Softball. She was employed at Rural King and attended APSU majoring in Music Education and played softball for the adult League at Heritage Park. Other than her parents, of Woodlawn, she is survived by her big sister, Amanda MiSchel Claytor; maternal grandparents, Dennis Rand and Sue Rand, Squaw Valley, CA; paternal grandparents, Norman Claytor and Doris Claytor, Fresno, CA, Rose Freitas, Kansas. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the Volleyball or Softball Womens Athletics at Fort Campbell High School.
