Brenda Tyrell

Brenda G. Tyrell, 69, Clarksville, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at Spring Meadows Health Care Center. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson with Rev. William Luffman officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home. She was born April 20, 1940 in Montgomery County, and was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Lois Oliver Payne; and her brother, Billy Payne. Mrs. Tyrell was a retired school bus driver for Montgomery County Schools System, a Baptist, a member of Women of the Moose, and a former Senior Regent. She is survived by her husband, Raleigh E. Tyrell Sr.; sons, Robin (Tanya) Tyrell, Raleigh (Brigitte) Tyrell Jr., all of Clarksville; sisters, Sue Bradshaw, Waterloo, IL, Peggy Kinard, Hillsboro, TX; half-brothers, Richard Payne, Robert Payne, both of Nashville; grandchildren, Brian Tyrell, Tina Tyrell, Victoria Tyrell, Ryan "Spencer" Tyrell, Kendall Tyrell. Pallbearers will be James Oliver, Spencer Tyrell, Brian Tyrell, Jason Rittenberry, Billy Ray Keatts, Kendall Tyrell, Jim Larocque and Charles Lawrence.
