Brenda Diane Toomalatai, age 71, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, November 19, 2020 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home, Erin, with Bro. Steve Winegardner officiating. Her family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Brenda entered into this life on July 13, 1949 in Nashville to the late Tom and Frances Schmidt Surrett. Brenda was a long time CNA with Signature Health and the former Royal Care of Erin, having been a dedicated employee of over 45 years and a passionate caretaker and friend to countless nursing home residents over the years. Brenda loved her favorite TV programs in her spare time and had attended First Assembly of God.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Robert and Kristle Toomalatai; siblings, Pam Rodriguez, Sheila Holiday (Ken), Bill Surrett (Debbie), and Jerry Anderson (Anita); three nieces, five nephews, and a host of great nieces and great nephews. Brenda also leaves behind many close friends that were very important to her. They along with her family will sorely miss Brenda.
Arrangements are in the care of Nave Funeral Home, Erin, Tennessee.
