Bonnie Mathis

Bonnie Sue Mathis, age 78, of Erin, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Centennial Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home, Erin, with the Rev. Joel Nulty officiating. Burial will follow in the Concord Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Bonnie entered into this life on July 12, 1938 in Humphreys County, Tennessee to the late Clayton Triplett and Hilda Moravick Triplett. She was retired from a career where she worked as a Secretary.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Orman Edward Mathis. Survivors include her children, Kinsey Mathis, Cindy Tomlinson, and Tami Simpson; sisters, Joyce Triplett and Virgie Blevins; and seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Bonnie's grandsons will serve as pallbearers. They are Jeff Tomlinson, Greg Tomlinson, Tarl Mathis, Erik Simpson, Mason Tomlinson,Trent Tomlinson and Brady Bucciarelli.
