Bonnie Jo Burkette, 73, Adams, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at her residence.
A celebration of her life will be held 12 noon, Monday, July 13, 2015 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Pastor Bryan Baggett officiating.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Monday at the funeral home.
She was born June 14, 1942 in Lexington, KY and was the daughter of the late William Harold and Juanita Betty Joyner LeMay.
Mrs. Burkette was a member of Bible Baptist Church and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Georgetown College with a B.A. in Home Economics. She enjoyed gardening and home improvement.
Awaiting to see her again are her husband of 51 years, Jerry Wayne Burkette Sr.; son, Jerry "Jay" Wayne Burkette Jr.; daughter, Cheri Lynn Bowen; brother, Bill LeMay; grandchildren, Lyndsey, Nicolas, Michaela, Marie, David, Nathan; nephews, Bryant, Tim; and niece, Kristal.
Pallbearers will be Charles Baggett, Ronnie Boyd, Terry Kubczak, David Newberry, Richard Palmer, Lonnie Perigo, Roger Powell and Paul Wrenn.
