Bonnie Addis

Bonnie Marie Addis, 89, Bumpus Mills, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at Spring Meadows Health Care Center. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Brocton, IL. Burial will be in Van Voorhis Cemetery, Hindsboro, IL. She was born January 26, 1920 in Douglas County, Illinois and was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon Nelson Peddycoart and Desta Opal Anderson Peddycoart; husband, Harold E. Addis; son, Larry Dean Addis; daughter, Shirley Jeanette Addis; three brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Addis was a member of Brocton Christian Church, Brocton, IL. She was very active in church and the Brocton Senior Citizens Center. Survivors include her sons, Thomas Kent Addis, Paris, ILL, Gerald Dwayne (Javona) Addis, Greenwood, IND, Allen Gene (Nancy) Addis, Cape Coral, FLA; daughters, Caron Sims, Bumpus Mills, TN, Merry Sue (James) Schroeder, Des Plaines, IL; brothers, Harold Peddycoart, Arthur Peddycoart, Illinois; sisters, Viola Clark, CA, Clara Cain, Fern Dyke, both of ILL, Camellia Buck, COL, Nancy Morecraft, AZ; twelve grandchildren, thirty five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
