Bobby Williams

CSM (Ret) Bobby G. Williams, 72, Clarksville, died Thursday, July 31, 2008, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 12 noon Monday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville with full military honors. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born May 24, 1936 in Rocky Mount, VA and was the son of the late Lewis Williams and Hilda Burnett Williams. Mr. Williams retired from the U.S. Army as a CSM after 30 years of service which included 3 tours in Viet Nam and later retired from Tennessee Job Services. He was a member of WK&T Association, 101st Airbourne Association, DAV, VFW and a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Jo Williams, Clarksville; sons, Tim (Twila) Williams, Columbia, TN, Mark Williams, Clarksville; daughter, Valerie (Carl) Lally, PA; brother, John Williams; grandchildren, Jill, Drew, Patrick, Ashley, Cory and Garren.
