Bobby Stone

Bobby Joe Stone passed away Thursday July 11, 2013 at Houston County Community Hospital. He was born July 13, 1943 in Houston County, Tn. son of Edward Stone and Pearl Smith Stone. He was preceded in death by his parents and son Jeffrey Stone. Bobby was a member of Erin Church of God of Prophecy; He worked for Houston County Board of Education. A celebration of his life will be 2pm Sunday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Richard Neal and Bro. Charles Thornburg officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30 am until 8pm Saturday and from 8am until service time Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at McDonald Cemetery. Survivors include his wife of fifty years Phyllis Self Stone, one son Eddie Stone, three brothers Bert Stone, Frankie Stone, Ernie Stone, and three sisters Loretta Selph, Judy Bybee, and Barbara Stone. Pallbearers will be Randy Eads, George Dennis, Scot Stone, Greg Hooper, Mike Self, and Brandon Brooks. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Beechum and Ray Bradley.
