Bobby Lee Shelby, 77, Clarksville, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Centennial Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2012 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Bobby was born March 16, 1935 in Montgomery County, son of the late Everett Lee Shelby and Katie Louise Glisson Shelby. Bobby was retired from the Tennessee Dept of Transportation. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #89 and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his brother, Billy Shelby of Clarksville, his sister, Nancy Jackson of Clarksville, his niece, Deborah Fortner of Ohio, and long-time friend and companion, Elizabeth Peterson.
Friends will serve as pallbearers.
