Bobby Dean Seay

Bobby Dean Seay, age 86, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024.

Celebration of Life will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2025 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Graves and Rev. David Mackens officiating.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Bobby entered this life on February 26, 1938 in Clarksville, TN to the late Chris and Bernice Seay. As the owner and operator of Clarksville’s first Dairy Queen, Bobby brought joy and delicious treats to countless families. His entrepreneurial spirit extended beyond Dairy Queen; he also owned and operated Bobby's Radiator Shop and was formerly the proud owner of Seay's Jewelry Store. His business ventures not only reflected his hard work and dedication but also his commitment to the community he loved. A distinguished Kentucky Colonel, he took great pride in his involvement in both the Boy Scouts and his church community. He displayed an unwavering support for his scouts, often purchasing uniforms for them, ensuring they felt empowered and confident in their endeavors. His dedication to youth and community was evident in the support he provided to many. Bobby was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Bobby Dean Seay, Jr; daughter, Tonya Seay, and brothers, Charles and Raymond Seay.

Survivors include his loving wife, Maragret Seay; sons, William C. Seay, and Christopher D. Seay; sons by marriage, Chris Hinckle, and Nathan Hinckle; sister, Sue Lehman. Bobby also leaves behind three grandchildren.
