Bobby Grasty

Bobby Gene Grasty, 71, Clarksville went to be with the Lord, Thursday, November 13, 2008, at Spring Meadows Health Care Center. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Harold Whitmer officiating. Burial will be in Smith-Austin-Wallace Cemetery, Stewart County. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Saturday and from 12 noon until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home. He was born February 23, 1937 in Stewart County and was the son of the late Buford Grasty and Mina Robinson Grasty. Mr. Grasty retired from Austin Peay State University Maintenance Department and was a member of the Community Church. He is survived by his wife, Mary Leona Harrison Grasty; sons, Dorris Gene (Alice) Grasty, Scott (Chrystal) Grasty, David (Susan) Grasty; daughter, Brenda Grasty, all of Clarksville; brothers, James Grasty, Delano Grasty, both of Indian Mound; sister, Manie Speight, Clarksville; grandchildren, Sharita Lewis, Tony Montezuma, Andrew Grasty, Tiffany Grasty, Paul Grasty; great-grandchild, Amaya Lewis. Pallbearers will be Brian Grasty, Phillip Grasty, Jimmy Speight, Marty Grasty, Tim Eads and Paul Grasty.
