Bobbie Trotter

Bobbie Maurine Trotter, 78, Cumberland Furnace, died Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
A celebration of life service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Marion United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ben Falls officiating. Burial will follow in Marion United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the church.
She was born November 25, 1933 in Montgomery County, daughter of the late Herchal and Paula Elrod. She was a homemaker and a member of Marion United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by sisters, Gladys Gordon and Peggy Gibson and her daughter, Nancy Trotter Jean.
Maurine was a devoted wife to Carl Vernon Trotter of Cumberland Furnace and loving mother to daughters Sharon Trotter Ferrell (David) of Cumberland Furnace and Wanda Denise Trotter of Dickson. She is also survived by two brothers, Rick and Gary Elrod, both of Michigan. She was grandmother to Ryan Ferrell (Abbey) of Cumberland Furnace, Heather Jean Davis (Joe) of Clarksville, Rachel Ferrell Davis (JJ) of Cumberland Furnace, Michelle Yekel of Cumberland Furnace, Tara Yekel of Dickson, Patricia Pearl Jean of Cumberland Furnace, and 8 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Gary Elrod, Ryan Ferrell, JJ Davis, Gary Hollis, Jeff Trotter, and Danny Trotter.
