rs.Bobbie Juanita Roper, 83, Tennessee Ridge, died Sunday, October 12,2008, at Signature Health Care. The funeral will be held at 2pm Tuesday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Bro.Ben Clark officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:30pm till 8pm Monday and from 8am till service Tuesday at the funeral home. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born January 25,1925 in Norton,Va.daughter of the late Charles and Mary Polis Yow.She was the widow of the late Rev.Paul Tate Roper. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons Ronald Roper(Jeannie) of Stewart,Tn.Randall Roper (Tracy) of Wartburg,Tn.two daughters Paulette Perry (Billy Joe)of Westmoreland,Tn.Deborah Gentry (John) of Burns,Tn.eight grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers Jason Perry, Chad Perry, Kevin Roper, Keith Roper, Joshua Roper, Philip Roper.
