Bob Thrasher

Bob Lewis Thrasher, 79, Clarksville, TN, died Friday , November 13, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 10am Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave and Larson Chapel with Rev. Dan Richards officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West Hopkinsville, KY with military honors. Visitation will be from 4pm till 7pm Tuesday and from 9am till the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Thrasher was born July 19, 1930 in Drumright, OK son of the late Lula Gober Potter. He was employed as a Union Financial Secretary Officer. He was also a lifetime member of Laborer's Local #288 (55 years of service), lifetime member of Stone City VFW Post, lifetime member of Ingalls Park Atheletic Club, and was a United States Army Veteran. Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Charlotte House. Mr. Thrasher is survived by his wife Annie Black Thrasher; sons Bobby(Cheryl) Thrasher,and Billy Thrasher; grandchildern Robby, Scott, Aimea, and Anna Thrasher all of Clarksville.
