Billy Richardson

MGYSGT (Ret.) Billy C. Richardson, age 81, of Clarksville, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Moore officiating. Burial with Marine Corps Honors will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Billy entered into this life on March 12, 1941, in Irvin, KY to the late Albert and Cleona Lynch Richardson. Billy was a proud Marine who served his country collectively for twenty-seven years. He was a Vietnam Veteran and retired with the rank of Mst. Gunnery Sergeant. Following his retirement from the Corps, he worked in Civil Service and then went on to Barber School. After which he worked at Curtis’ Barber Shop for twenty years up until his retirement a few years ago. In his free time, Billy enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by, son, Michael Wayne Richardson; great-grandchild, Sarah.
Survivors include his loving wife, Eileen Jane Cox Richardson; daughter, Kimberly McTiernan; grandchildren, Michael Matthew (Mandy) McTiernan and Katherine (Steven) Jane-McTiernan Hart; great-grandchildren, MaKenleigh, Aiden, Gavin, Peyton, Kyleigh, Makenna, Makenzleigh.
