Billy Parchman

Billy Gene Parchman, 76, Cumberland City, died Monday, December 28, 2009, at Select Specialty Hospital. The funeral will be held at 2pm Saturday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Willie Lyle and Bro. Mike Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Lewis Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be from 2pm until 8pm Friday and from 8am until service Saturday at the funeral home. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Billy was born September 12, 1933 in Houston County,Tn.son of the late Eugene Earl Parchman and Betty Olie Parchman.He was preceded by one son Joey Parchman and one brother Bobby Parchman. He was a member of Springhill United Methodist Church and was a Navy Veteran. Survivors include his wife Jane Ross Parchman of Cumberland City,Tn.one son Robert Earl(Lisa)Parchman of Cumberland City,Tn.one brother Tommy(Peggy)Parchman of Erin,Tn.one sister Sarah(JW)Conger of Memphis,Tn.three grandaughters Leanne (Travis)Venable, Christy(Jamie)Owen, Kimberly(Shane)Smith and six great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Donald Rogers, Joe Pulley, Kevin Thomas, Evan Parchman, Chris Parchman, Dean Parchman, Scott Parchman, Mike MacKeown, Roger Ross, Russell Clark.Honorary pallbearers will be Springhill Adult Mens Sunday School Class.
