Billy N. Jones, 82, Clarksville, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2012 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald D. Burgess officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home.
Billy was born March 26, 1930 in Montgomery Co., TN, son of Virgil and Doris Grant Jones. He retired from a career in automotive sales, as he was the owner of Jones Motor Company. Billy was a member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
In addition to his parents Billy was preceded in death by his first wife, Rebecca Harper Clark Jones, brother, Leslie R. Jones and his sister, Eleanor J. Corvo.
Survivors include his faithful wife, Carolyn White Jones of Clarksville; his loving sons, John Clark and wife Jackie of Leeds, AL, Jim Clark and wife Trisha of Knoxville, Keith Clark of Clarksville, and Jimmy Henderson and Scotty Henderson, both of Russellville, KY; and sister, Alice J. Edwards of Woodlawn. Also, he was the proud grandfather of several grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Shannon Ferrell, Gary Jones, William H. Pollard, Bill Cheatham, Jimmy Henderson, and Scotty Henderson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund c/o Addie B. Morrison, 811 York Rd., Clarksville, TN 37042 or the Shriner's Hospital.
