Billy Mann

Billy Mann Sr. passed peacefully with his children by his side in Clarksville, TN on November 7 at the age of 81.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at McReynolds Nave and Larson in Clarksville, TN. Mark Riggins will officiate the ceremony. He will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The Mann family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Billy is survived by his wife of 61 years Rita Mann, sons Billy Mann Jr. and Johnny Mann (wife Nisey Mann), granddaughters Brittney Mann and Carly Mann, brothers Jimmy Mann (wife Linda Mann), Dorris Mann, Terry Mann, and best friend J.D. Wallace.

Billy was born January 21, 1940 in Indian Mound, TN to James and Lola Mann. He married the love of life in 1961 and set up residence in Clarksville, TN. A few short years later he began his 32 year career working for The City Of Clarksville Gas and Water Department. He retired from the city as a Water Foreman and will always be remembered for his wealth of knowledge in the industry.

He was an avid outdoorsman that particularly enjoyed rabbit hunting, training his beagles, fishing and tending to his garden.

He will be remembered as a hard-working, loving husband and father. He will deeply missed.
