Billy Joe Herrell

Billy Joe Herrell, age 74, of Cumberland Furnace, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Horizon Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Adam Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Rye's Chapel Cemetery.
The Herrell family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 12 noon until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Herrell entered into this life on February 16, 1940 in Southside, Tennessee, son to the late William Thomas Herrell and Bertha Louise Christy Herrell. He worked as a concrete contractor and was a member of the Lee's Chapel Church of Christ.
Survivors include his loving wife, Brenda Burton Herrell; his children Gregory Scott Herrell, Tammy Jo Herrell, Kelly Ray Swaw-Herrell, and Ginger Louise Herrell; brothers, Carney Herrell and William Claude Herrell; his sister, Nancy Hodges; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
