Billy Hughes

Billy Jim Hughes, age 79 of Erin, TN, passed away Thursday, November 02, 2017 at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 5, 2017 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. David Hardin officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
The Hughes family will receive friends on Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Sunday afternoon.
Billy entered this life on February 13, 1938 in Erin, TN, son to the late Paul and Onie Brooks Hughes. Billy was retired from TVA as a machinist.
In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lois Janell Hughes; sister, Frances Hughes, and granddaughter, Alexandria Hughes.
Survivors include his loving children, Billy Jim Hughes II, Gina McMillan (Mike); sisters, Peggy Eads, Margie Patterson, and Carol Lowe. Billy also leaves behind four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mike McMillan, Tyler McMillan, Tate McMillan, Eddie Brooks, Bobby Patel, James Tolley, Lewis Dew, and Eddie (Bubs) Brooks. Honorary pallbearers will be Rodney Lowe, Larry Patterson, Willie Ray Eads, and Jamie Black.
