Charles William (Billy) Ford, age 69 passed away Monday, September 13, 2021.
The family will receive friends on Wed September 22, 2021 from 5pm to 7pm
Charles, known to his family and friends as Billy, entered this life on April 20, 1952 in Indiana to the late Arthur and Nellie Wallace Ford. He was a Christian who loved the Lord and kept a prayer journal every night. He enjoyed playing Yahtzee, collecting Ford memorabilia, collecting rings of all kinds and his weekly outing with his dear cousin Charlene, who was more like a sister than a cousin as they were raised together by their dear grandparents Bennie and Clarence Norman. They would enjoy going out to breakfast or lunch, shopping or the casino.
Billy was a cook for Waffle House for many years.
Billy is survived by his cousins Charlene (Roy) Colley, Robin (Tommy) London, Charlotte (Ronnie) Edlin, Raymond (Beth) Garrison, Brandon (Shannon) Colley, Shawn Colley and Charles Colley Jr., Step Sister Ina Ford, Half Brother Bobby Moore, life long friend Randy, friend Mary Stewart and his friend Jack who always made sure Billy had a roof over his head and many extended family members. He was preceded in death by his Half Sister Amanda Snow.
