Billy “Bill” Gene Dew, age 79 of Erin, TN, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Signature Healthcare of Erin.
A celebration of his life will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2021 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Eads officiating. Burial will follow in Brakeview Cemetery. The Dew family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday afternoon at the funeral home.
Bill entered this life on December 7, 1941 in Cumberland City, TN, son to the late Gus and Henrietta Dew. Bill loved his mules and wagon and was an avid coon hunter. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Dew, and brother, Troy Dew. Survivors include his loving children, David (Amy) Dew, Rita Baggett, Teresa Dew, Brenda Troubaugh; siblings, George Dew Ralph Dew, Faye Neblett, Marietta Hollis; and granddaughter, Emma Dew.
Serving as pallbearers will be Willie Pulley, Elvin Sawyer, Raymond, Bush, Danny Welker, Paul Davenport, and John Wyatt. Honorary pallbearers will be Benny Black, Conn Butts and Ted Wallace.
