Billie Lawrence Smith, 69, Clarksville, died Monday, December 15, 2008, at Spring Meadows Health Care Center. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born October 21, 1939 in Montgomery County and was the son of the late, Lawrence Hayden Smith and Mary Katherine Rollins Smith. Mr. Smith was a Bapitst and a U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by his daughter, Mary Katherine Smith; brothers, Charles Smith, Mike Smith, both of Clarksville; sisters, Nancy Lockert, Chattanooga, Sue Morris and Jean Grant, both of Clarksville.
