Bill Fish

William E. Fish, 64, Clarksville, died Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at his residence after a long courageous battle with cancer. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Dr. Felts Dent officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Hopkinsville, KY with military honors. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home. He was born August 30, 1944 in Pembroke, KY. He was preceded in death by his father, David Leslie Fish. Mr. Fish was the former assistant parts manager at Jenkins & Wynne, a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include his mother, Audrey Fish Johnson; wife, Carolyn Francies Fish; son, William David (Melody) Fish; daughter, Jennifer Fish (Cale) Burch, all of Clarksville; brothers, David Leslie (Nora) Fish Jr., Antioch, TN, Jim (Susan) Fish, Wichita Falls, TX, Doug Fish, Mike Fish, both of Hopkinsville, Paul Fish, Priceton, KY; sisters, Rena Wells, Hopkinsville, Louise (Butch) McKnight, Crofton, KY, and Sara (Richard) Lawson, Evansville, IN; one grandchild due August 2009 and two step-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be nephews: Keith Fox, James Fox, Tommy Fish, Steve Fish, Wayne Fish and Scotty Fish.
