Beverly D. Ledbetter, age 78 of Clarksville, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2016 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Bogle officiating. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday at the funeral home.
Beverly was born August 9, 1938 in Cheatham County, the daughter of the late William Blake Shores and Mary Simpkins. She is also preceded in death by her husband, William Coleman Ledbetter, Jr. She was a member of New Hope Free Will Baptist Church.
Beverly is survived by her son, William Coleman Ledbetter, III and wife Stephanie; daughter, Grace “Colleen” McLaughlin and husband Creig; grandchildren, Stephanie Brooke Duffer, William Coleman Ledbetter, IV, Alexander “Alex” and Mitchell Lewis Ledbetter, and Dylan McLaughlin; great-grandchildren, Bryson and Brock Duffer; brothers, Roy Shores, Leonard Shores, Tommy Shores, and Donnie Ray Shores; sister, Dorothy Shores.
Creig McLaughlin, Brent Duffer, Bryson Duffer, Brock Duffer, Terry Ray, and Mark Ellis will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at P.O. Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090-6011.
