Betty York

Betty Jean York passed away at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband Mark York, parents Lucian Strong and Lila Bull Strong. She was born May 1, 1933 in Barbourville, Ky. Services will be 4pm Monday June 25 2012 at Nave Funeral Home with Bro. James Green, Bro. Eddie Thomas officiating. Burial will be at Batson-Schmitou Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday June 25, 2012 starting at 10:30 am until service time at the funeral home.
Survived by daughter; Cindy York Mallard of Waverly, Tn. son Timothy York of Cumberland Furnace, Tn. sister Ruby Guzzi of Rockwood, Mi. precious loving caregivers Gail Mixon, Jerri Tidwell, special cousins Audey and Maxine Shelton.
Other family, son; Tony York, Ramey York, daughters Sherry York Jannie Winters. Thirteen beloved grandchildren, six great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Dear friend Claudia Ingram.
Pallbearers will be Nick Tomlinson, Evan Tomlinson, Chase Mallard, Noah Bennett, Matt York, Tony York, David Clack, Ben Winters and Alex York. Honorary pallbearer will be Kaleb Hearndon.
