Betty Sutton

Mrs. Betty Sutton, age 80, of Stewart, TN, passed away Monday, August 7, 2017 at her residence. Betty was born on February 24, 1937 in Clarksville, TN, daughter to the late Frank and Estelle Underwood Mackens. Betty was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
A celebration of her life will be held 2pm Thursday, August 10, 2017 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Neal and Bro. Charles Thornburg officiating. Visitation will be from 4:30pm until 8pm Wednesday and from 10am until the hour of service time Thursday afternoon. Burial will follow at Cane Creek Cemetery. Survivors include her loving husband, Carl Sutton; son, Steve Sutton; daughters, Cindy Forsgren, Vicki Leach, Teresa Sutton, April Sutton; brothers, Noel Mackens, Robert Mackens; sisters, Margie Gaither, Lucy Elrod, Jeanette Byard, Shirley Mackens; seven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Reggie Carpenter, Ray Bradley, Phillip Byard, Jimmy Gaither, Jason Forsgren, and Anthony Forsgren. Steve Sutton will serve as honorary pallbearer.
