Betty Lorrine Rose, 85, Clarksville, died Monday, April 11, 2011 at Grace Health Care. Burial will be in Pitcairn Cemetery, Pitcairn, NY. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. Mrs. Rose was born March 8, 1926 in West Carthage, NY and was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Leona Stephens Rose; husband, John W. Rose; and her son, Clarence Rose. Betty was a homemaker, volunteer worker for Green Thumb, Meals on Wheels in Carthage, NY. and member of Grays Chapel Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include her sons, Larry Rose, Watertown, NY, Daniel (Christine) Rose, Clarksville, Albert (Dorothy) Rose, Clarksville, Kenny Rose, Harrisville, NY, Kevin Rose, Watertown, NY; sisters, Arlene, Albany, NY, Janette Crump, Watertown, NY; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
