Betty Richardson

Betty Sue Richardson, age 79, of Clarksville, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, February 4, 2013.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon Sunday, February 9, 2014 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
The Richardson family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home.
Betty entered this life on June 25, 1934 in Erin, Tennessee, daughter to the late Gilbert and Aurthetta Hearndon Claxton. She was a 1951 graduate of Houston County High School and went on to retire from a career with the Ft. Campbell School System. In addition to her working career, Betty was a loving homemaker to her family and a deeply loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She was also an active and faithful member of the church family at the First Baptist Church of Oak Grove. Among the many things Betty enjoyed in life were flowers, sewing, and taking care of those she loved.
Betty goes to be reunited with her husband, James H. "Jim" Richardson. She is survived by her loving family which includes her daughters, Jeanie Veith and Gail Peterson; grandchildren, John Neal and wife Therese, Michael Neal and wife Deedra, Caitlyn Burkhart and Rachel Burkhart; great grandchildren, Shayla, Priscilla, Slate, Christine, John, Henry, and Scout; and siblings, Charles Claxton and Jeanette Powell.
