Betty Raposa

Betty Maria Raposa, 46, Cumberland Furnace, died Thursday, July 1, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Pastor Randy Lopshire and Rev. Ronald Burgess officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home. The remains are to be cremated. She was born December 12, 1963 in Berlin, Germany daughter of Wilford and Barbara Berger Washburn; and was the widow of Henri Jessi Raposa. Mrs. Raposa was a cafateria worker for Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. She attended Riverside Church and was a graduate of Northwest High School. Other than her parents of Clarksville, she is survived by her son, Kyle Henri Raposa and daughter, Felicia Maria Raposa, both of Cumberland Furnace; brothers and sister, Martin Washburn, CA, Jonny Washburn, Sylvia Jackson, and Henry Wasburn all three of Clarksville; and several nieces and nephews.
