Betty Jean Odom, age 87 of Indian Mound, TN, passed away Monday, January 27, 2020 at Diversicare of Dover.
A celebration of her life will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2020 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Stephen Cathey officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery at a later date.
The Odom family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Friday afternoon at the funeral home.
Betty entered this life on December 22, 1932 in Erin, TN, daughter to the late Othel and Grace Parker.In addiction to her parents Betty was preceded in death by her son Benny Mike Cathey. Betty was a faithful member of Tennessee Ridge Baptist Church.
Survivors include her loving husband of 39 years, Johnny “JB” Odom; children, Sidney (Barbara) Cathey, Larry Cathey, Richard Cathey, Gelenda (Robert) Wallace, and Gail (Arthur) Keefe. Betty also leaves behind 15 Grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
