Betty Moore

Betty Moore, age 84, of Clarksville, TN passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022.

Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, November 26, 2022, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Betty entered this life on January 22, 1938, in Montgomery County, TN to the late John and Maude Byrd Stanley.

She was a member of Excell Baptist Church and was retired from Ft. Campbell, where she worked in payroll. Betty loved cooking, spending time with her family, and her husband, Franklin, whom she missed dearly.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Douglas Moore, and her siblings, Raymond Stanley, Bobby Stanley, Charlie Stanley, Edna Pulley, Nannie Steeley, Joyce Stepp, and Ann Westrich.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Steely, and Susan Carson (Russell); grandchildren, Jimmy Durrett, Thomas Durrett (Beth), Sara Crawford Greene (Stetson), Megan Jones (Jared), and Stephanie Carson; great-grandchildren, Thomas Durrett, Reese Durrett, Walker Durrett, Emery Greene, and Jared Jones; sisters, Phyllis Espersen, Martha Trainer, and Judy (John) Mareno.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Durrett, Thomas Durrett, Thomas Durrett, Jr., Russell Carson, Stetson Greene, Tommy Trainer, and Jason Lusby.
