Betty Langford

April 24, 1926 — January 12, 2019

Nancy Elizabeth (Betty) Stack Langford, age 92, of Clarksville, passed away January 12, 2019 at Clarksville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Betty was born April 24, 1926 in Cheatham County, Tennessee to the late James B. Stack and Clara Fort Stack. She was also preceded in death by her two sisters, Robbie Head, Marian Lucille Mahaffey, and her brother, George F. Stack.
Betty was a retired administrative assistant, always supporting her husband in his various business endeavors.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, James Preston Langford, two daughters, Suzanne (David) Simpson and Katrina (Eugene) Day, four grandchildren, Melanie (Anthony) Hill, Bradley (Sydny) Simpson, Allison Carter, Lauren (Kenneth) O'Reilly, and her five great grandchildren, Aubrey Hill, Emery Simpson, Millie Carter, Clair O'Reilly, and Kenneth O'Reilly IV.
Betty loved family time, homemaking, and travel.
A Memorial Service at her home will be planned for family and friends to gather and celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church or charity of your choice.
Betty's family would like to extend a special thanks to Donna Land, home health caregiver, Constance Gray, niece, Ann and Tom Pruitt, sister and brother-in-law, and the wonderful nurses and aides at Clarksville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for the loving care she received in her final months.
