Betty June Wade Harmon

Betty June Wade Harmon, age 94, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024.

Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Revs. Bill Graham and Lisa Groves Payton officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Betty entered this life on July 14, 1930 in Greenville, TN to the late F.B. Wade and Ida Hybarger Wade. Betty was a student at Berkeley Baptist Divnity School when she met and married her husband, Clyde Harmon. She was well suited for the role of pastor’s wife, loving and supporting her husband wherever the ministry called. In 1988, after Clyde’s retirement, they moved to Clarksville, TN. They were members of First Baptist Church, Clarksville from 1989 to 2004, when they moved membership to Little West Fork Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Rev. Clyde Harmon, and three brothers, Levi Wade, Leon Wade, and Marion Wade.

She is survived by her sisters, Jane Baker, Minnie Fulford, and Patricia.
