Betty Henderson

Betty Sue Lyle Henderson, age 76, passed away Friday, April 1, at her home in Palmyra, TN after a long illness. Betty was born to Stot and Betty Lyle on April 10, 1934 in her home on TN Ridge. She was the youngest of nine children. She is survived by; her husband Clyde Henderson, children Kathy and husband Phillip Fradiska of Cumberland, MD, Julia Hillier of Greenbrier, TN, and Mike Riggins of Palmyra, TN, and brother Buddy Broome of Memphis. Betty and Clyde have eight grandchildren; Andrea Stevenson, Sean Fradiska, Eric Hillier, Elaine Helmstetter, Carrie Fradiska, Jason Riggins, Ronnie Riggins, and Allison Anderson. They have ten great-grandchildren. She was a member of Palmyra United Methodist Church. The service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Ben Falls will officiate. Andy Stevenson, Vincent Jackson, Eric Hillier, Jason Riggins, Ronnie Riggins, and Drew Stevenson will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevan Clinard and Gene Mullins. Visitation hours are Sunday from 12 noon until 6 p.m., Monday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., and Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service.
