Betty Ruth Morgan Fowler, age 84 of Cumberland Furnace, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2016 at Spring Meadows Nursing Home.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Stafford officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at 12 noon on Thursday.
Betty was born on February 1, 1932 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Frank Jenkins Morgan and Leona Elnora Churchill Morgan. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Mitchell Fowler and sons, Tommy Fowler and Randy Fowler.
She is survived by her sons, Bobby (Gail) Fowler and Ronnie Fowler; daughters, Sharon (Mike) Salyer and Leona Fowler; 3 sisters, including Jennie “Ann” Draper; 4 brothers; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123 and/or the Alzheimer’s Association at 4825 Trousdale Drive, #220, Nashville, TN 37220.
