Betty Edmondson

Betty Edmondson, age 86, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023.

Celebration of Life will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2023, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Pastors Ronny Raines and Ron Edmondson officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 19, 2023, from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Friday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Betty entered this life on January 7, 1937, in Lincoln, Kansas to the late Emil and Lenora Hilderbrandt. She graduated from Brown-Mackie School of Business and was a First Baptist Church, Clarksville member. Betty enjoyed sewing, cooking, and reading. She retired from Trane after 42 years of dedicated employment.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John R. Edmondson, Sr.

Survivors include her children, John R. Edmondson, Jr. (Tammy), Ronald Edmondson (Cheryl), and Wendy Lyon (Jeff); grandchildren, Rebecca, John III, Christopher, Jeremy, Nathaniel, and Austin; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Barry Brake, Chris Lyon, Nate Edmondson, Jeremy Chandler, Austin Lyon, and Jeff Lyon.
