Betty Williams Brandon, age 90, passed on to glory Friday, July 14, 2023, after a brief illness at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville.

Celebration of Life will be held 3 p.m. Monday, July 17, 2023 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Dr. Roger Freeman officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 1 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Burial will be held at Memorial Park in Memphis, TN.

Betty entered this life on March 7, 1933, in Gibson County, TN to the late Odell and Vera Pack Williams. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Clarksville and a resident at Arcadia Senior Living. She worked for many years in the cotton industry in Memphis before moving to Clarksville to be closer to family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert “Gil” Theodore Brandon, and daughter in law, Lee Ann Brandon.

Survivors include her son, Dr. Theodore “Ted” Brandon; grandchildren, Matthew Brandon (Crystal) of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, John Brandon (Natalie) of Clarksville, Tennessee; sister, Annie Mae Emrich, of Jackson, TN; brother, Jimmy (Anita) Williams, of Olive Branch, MS; great-grandchildren, Sadie, Shay, Jacob, Logan and Ella, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Find Us Faithful at First Baptist Church, Clarksville.
