Betty Jean Baggett, age 82, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at her home in Clarksville.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at the Lone Oak Baptist Church with the Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will follow at the Lone Oak Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
Betty entered into this life on January 20, 1935 in Louisville, Kentucky, daughter to the late Martin and Edna Bryant Nall. She was a loving and caring provider for her family and enjoyed spending time with her pets and previously enjoyed camping and fishing with her late husband, James E. Baggett, Sr. Betty was a former member of Hilldale Baptist and Bible Baptist Church and was a current member of Lone Oak Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, Betty was preceded in death by her son, James E. Baggett, Jr., and her siblings, Ray, Buddy, Jackie, Sissy, and Marsha. Survivors include her children, David Baggett (Sharon), Paul Baggett (Cyndie), Mark Baggett (Charlene), Timothy Baggett (Jo Ann), and Joel Baggett (Teresa); sister, Frances Mullins; and daughter-in-law, Kay Baggett. She was the loving grandmother of sixteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Sons and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
