Bettie Sue Conwell

Bettie Sue Conwell, age 89 of Clarksville, TN, formerly of Erin, TN, passed away November 26, 2021 surrounded by friends and family.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home in Erin , TN with Rev. Jacqueline Pitt Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Carson-Cary Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday afternoon.
Bettie entered this life on October 21, 1932 in Houston County, TN, daughter to the late Walter Pitts and Georgia Carson Pitts. She was a lifetime member Spring Hill Church and attended APSU in Clarksville. She retired as a Shift Chemist after 21 years of service at TVA.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, John Conwell; son, John Conwell Jr.; siblings; Bobby Pitts, Jeannie Crowder, as well as her great-granddaughter, Alana Kate Young.
Survivors include her loving daughter; Kathy Akins; sons, Michael Conwell, Kevin Conwell (Melinda), Brian Conwell (Terri), Peter Conwell (Melissa) and Jimmy Conwell (Michelle). She also leaves behind 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Conwell, Kevin Conwell, Brian Conwell, Peter Conwell, Jimmy Conwell and Justin Barnes.
