Betsy Wells

Elizabeth Eve `Betsy` Wells, 49, Clarksville, died Thursday, June 12, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Ken Wallace officiating. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home. The remains are to be cremated. She was born November 30, 1958 in Nashville, daughter of Robert and Bettye Dortch McKinnon. Betsy was a Registered Nurse for Montgomery County Health Department and a graduated with a degree from Matty Hersee Nursing School, Meridan, Miss. She was a member of Erin United Methodist Church. Other than her parents of Erin, survivors include her husband, Robert (Bob) Wells, Clarksville; children, Michelle (Preston) Jackson, Caleb Downey; step-son, Cody Wells; step-daughter, Casey Wells; grandson, Austyn Wells; brothers, Richard (Kathy) McKinnon and Rob McKinnon; sisters, Melinda (Pete) Weins, Leighann Marshall, Janie (Neal) Dixon; Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews who affectionately knew her as "Uncle Betsy". In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life, 4385 West Main Street, Erin, TN 37061.
