Bessie Baggett

Bessie Olean Baggett, 87, Clarksville, died Tuesday, September 21, 2010, at Patients Choice Medical Center, Erin. A celebration of life service will be held at 12 noon Friday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. David Steppee officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home. She was born May 13, 1923 in Dickson County and was the daughter of the late Thurman (Cat) and Elsie M. Potts Karnes. Mrs. Baggett was a homemaker and a Christian. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, James Odis Baggett, Shiloh; son, Kenneth (Connie) Baggett, Clarksville; daughter, Frances (Billy) Self, Dickson; grandchildren, Kenneth Baggett Jr., Shaun Baggett, David Self, Lori Green; great-grandchildren, Caitlin Baggett, Olivia Self, Jesse Ferrell, Amber Ferrell; great-great-grandchildren, Emma Ferrell, Bilee Ferrell; sisters, Eva Mae Mezza, Josie Green; and several nieces and nephews. Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
