Bertha Davis

Bertha Pauline Davis, 75, formerly of Clarksville, died Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, SC. A celebration of her life will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, May 5, 2011 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Bobby Kail officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery. Mrs. Davis was born February 25, 1936 in Montgomery County and was preceded in death by her parents, James Rufus and Lillie Mae Miller Smith; and her husband, Clinton Davis. Survivors include her sons, Ronnie Bentley, Mike Edwards, James Edwards and Kenneth Edwards; daughters, Peggy Ann McNair, Rachel Cutshall, Katie Maines and Nancy Jenkins; sister, Martha Joiner; fifteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
