Bennie Spicer

Bennie Velton Spicer, 83, Erin, died Friday, April 10, 2009, at at the home of his granddaughter. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. W.A. Ballard officiating. Burial will be in Lewis Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.He was born August 1,1925 in Houston County,Tn. son of the late John and Mattie Powers Spicer.He was a U.S.Navy Veteran.Survivors include his wife Willie Mae Lynch Spicer,one son Jerry Spicer,one brother Bobby Spicer all of Erin,Tn.three grandchildren,four great grandchildren,and two great great grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Harold Major, Ronnie Parker, Jimmy Clark, Paul Dority, Gary Reynolds, Donnie Lomax, Ken Phillips
